Avaya IP Office Release 10
Release 10 is the latest update for Avaya’s IP Office range and extends their midmarket innovation and focus on the Cloud, delivering a greater resilience, security through a range of endpoints, and easy to use, fully integrated desktop and mobile clients. Release 10 boasts a vast number of benefits and improvements over previous versions, we have picked out some of the best:
Release 10 contains features designed to make installation both simpler and faster. With automatic detection of other IP Office systems which sees substantial installation speed increases. For Administrators, there are UCM improvements as well as an expanded Web Manager, capable of being your administrative tool of choice for R10.
Collaborating with IP Office has been made richer with the H175 video endpoint and new web-based updates. Other new capabilities include the availability of a Web RTC Software Developers Kit, enabling third-parties to create video and voice applications. Integration has also been tightened up with the Avaya Communicator for Web, along with a range of improvements for One-X® Portal and One-X® Mobile.
Scalability has been increased to provide further additional capacity to support up to 3000 users and 150 nodes. A few examples include, increasing the number of hunt groups to 600, soft consoles to 75, music-on-hold sources to 32, button modules to 8192 and directory capacities (system directories:10 000/personal directories 250).
SIP Trunking Enhancements
